  1. Learning how to identify bird songs makes a walk through nature a feast for the ears as well as the eyes.
  2. Volunteering at a public garden or park is a wonderful way to enjoy nature and give back to the community!
  3. Pick up a field guide and learn more about the flowers, trees, and other plants that grow where you live!
  4. Select walking tours while on vacation to enjoy the sights at a slower pace.
  5. Garden! Whether you have acres or only a terra cotta pot, nuturing a living thing makes one feel closer to nature.

Happy Trails! 🙂

      1. Much of my backyard is native plants as we’re on a sloping block of land but up the front ww have vegie gardens. At the moment we’ve got an assortment in ranging from zucchini and lettuce to carrots and beetroot. We’ll see how they go. And you?

      2. Sounds nice! ☺ We have a vegetable garden with peppers, cucumbers, and tomatoes and a flower garden with heirloom roses, impatiens, and others. It’s fun to watch the garden evolve as the seasons go by.
