Heather’s adventures in “Zumba”land!

I love Zumba as much as I love jumping! 😉

Hi adventurers!

I have been a Lewis Carroll fan since my early childhood. I watched the 1951 animated Disney version every time I was sick and couldn’t sleep. I’ve read Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass numerous times.

I’m quite grown up now, and I can’t wait for the live-action film Through the Looking Glass to debut this spring/summer! I believe I will never outgrow my fascination with Carroll’s topsy-turvy world.

So today I’m here to tell you about my latest adventure–Zumba! Yes, I’m joining the Zumba bandwagon a little late in the game, but better late than never! 😉

Zumba’s fun dance moves and infectious Latin music have made exercising more of a party than a routine. Why not make the regular habit of exercise more fun?

Right now, I am enjoying learning Zumba via DVD at home. This may be ideal for you, too, especially if you have a work (or travel!) schedule to work around. If you gain energy from dancing with a group of other lively folks, I encourage you to look for a Zumba class in your area. The YMCA and other fitness centers often offer Zumba classes.

Happy Trails!

Petiteloulou (Heather) 😉

  1. I have been saying for years that I want to join a Zumba class. Just haven’t managed to actually do it yet. I’m pretty sure one of the local fitness clubs has classes. I think it would be a fun way to get my much needed exercise.

  2. I go to Zumba 2 times a week and walk 2 other times a weeks. I love it! The Zumba Girls are so much fun and we enjoy getting together away from Zumba as well. A great social time too. A great way to make new friends.
