Monday Musings: TED, reading, and roads

Hi adventurers!

The other day I was thinking about my college days and one class, Advanced Speech, popped into my head.

We were assigned a speech which we were to deliver in TED Talk style. TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, and Design. TED.com features brief talks on myriad topics that fall within the categories above.

I’m relieved that the sweaty palms and migraines of Advanced Speech are over, but I did enjoy watching a variety of personalities talk about topics that were their passion.

This summer, I have added three more goals for daily living:

1. Always be in the process of reading a book.

2. Watch at least three TED talks per week.

3. Take more road trips (short and long). ☺

Happy Trails! 💟

    1. Thanks so much for your comment! 💟 I’ll have to write another TED talk post. For starters, I like the Sir Ken Robinson’s talk, “Do Schools Kill Creativity?” and Celeste Headlee’s “10 ways to have a better conversation.” ☺
