Travel Tuesday: Eden Gardens

Hello, adventurers!

In addition to being Travel Tuesday, this post is a bit of a throwback as well.

About five or six years ago, my family and I visited Eden Gardens in Point Washington, Florida. It is a wonderful day-trip if you’re staying in Panama City Beach, in Destin, or one of the other beautiful vacation spots along the Florida Panhandle.

I am a nature girl, but the Wesley House, a historical mansion on the spacious grounds of Eden Gardens is definitely worth touring.

My favorite part of the visit was picnicking above the verdant live oaks. Some of the branches swoop so low that they bear the appearance of  ferny arms with long, elegant fingers.

Eden Gardens is a great place to get in touch with your inner child.

And to explore what lies beyond the gates.

Happy Trails!
