I hope you are having a lovely weekend.
I’ve decided to jump on the subscription box bandwagon and signed up to receive a quarterly Walmart Beauty Box. They are $5 each (which covers the shipping). Since I subscribed recently I think I may have gotten my box a bit later than others did.
I was pretty happy with the latest Winter box. First of all, I thought the icy-blue package and tissue paper were a nice touch.
Since I’m under 35, I received a Trendsetter box. A classic box is available for ages 35 and over.
I received the goodies you see below. The two items I was most excited to get were **drumroll, please** a full-size Covergirl mascara and Curel Hydratherapy along with a high-value Curel coupon ($4). I believe the contents of the beauty boxes can vary among recipients, but it’s great loot for five bucks no matter how you slice it!
Target also has a beauty box, but it’s a monthly item available for purchase on their website around the first Monday of each month rather than a subscription. They usually go for between $5 and $10. They often sell out the first day they’re live, so act fast.
Here is what a typical $5 Target box looks like. There were a few items (Shea Moisture shampoo and conditioner, Carol’s Daughter leave-in conditioner spray, and Miss Jessie’s Quick Curls cream) hiding underneath in the box.
Have you tried a Walmart or Target Beauty Box? Do you have a preference? Let me know in the comments!
Happy Trails! 🙂
