  1. Well it is the 150th anniversary of Canada’s confederation. What better time to come to Canada? The Rockies are amazing and you can’t beat the hospitality of the maritimes in the east. Quebec has some stunning architecture and Toronto is a world class city. Just saying… ๐Ÿ˜‰

      1. Thanks so much! I’m only about 600-700 miles from Toronto, so I’d love to visit sometime. I saw Quebec from a distance when standing on Cadillac Mountain in Maine. Stunning vista. Have you traveled around in British Columbia? I’ve been to Olympic Peninsula in Washington State, but didn’t get the opportunity to cross the Canadian border that time around. Take care!

      2. Well then we’re right around the corner. British Columbia is stunning! It was the first I have ever seen real mountains and it left me speechless! I didn’t get to the coast in Washington state but I imagine it would be similar to that by the ocean and further inland was more like Montana if you’d ever been to the neck of the woods. There are some amazing parks in BC and even an incredible provincial park less than 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver. Surprisingly there’s world class surfing just off Tofino on Vancouver Island. The Okanagan Valley is big for wines. I haven’t been in the north part of BC but I’m hoping to get there this summer. And the people seem much more laid back than the folks in and around Toronto. Quebec is beautiful for the history and some incredible foods, especially cheeses.
If you end up in Toronto and want some info, I’m just an email away.
I realize I sound like I work for the tourism department. I don’t. I’m just excited to share ๐Ÿ˜Š
